When We Don't See Ourselves The Way We Should

Psalm 139:14  (New King James Bible)
I will praise You, for I am
fearfully and wonderfully
made; Marvelous are Your
works, and that my soul knows very well

Sometimes in life we do not see ourselves in a good light.  The things that have happened to us disappoint us and we are disappointed by what we have allowed to happen.  We do not like what we see in our lives.   We do not like what we see in the mirror.  We do not like the outcome of an assignment, a grade, a sermon, a relationship, or whatever you or I did not like the outcome of.

We become disappointed with ourselves and we are not happy with ourselves.  These are the times we need to ask ourselves a question: Do we know that we are someone special?  If not, this Psalm lets us know just that.  It lets us know that we are fearfully made, which means to revere. To revere is to show devoted, deferential honor to, to regard as worthy of great honor.  You are someone to be honored.  Even if some other people do not respond to you this way, this is still true.  You are a great person.  Even though things may be tough and the desires of your heart have not come to pass, you are still a great person.

This is how God sees us.  His love for us is not predicated on our skin pigmentation.  Nor is it predicated on our weight.  Nor is it predicated on our level of education. Nor is it predicated on the mistakes of our past.  Even if that mistake was just last night or this morning.   It is predicated on one thing.  That He (God) made us and we are "good"—for God sees us as very good, a very good creation.

Genesis 1:26-27,31 (Amplified Bible)
26 God said, Let Us [Father, Son, Holy Spirit] make mankind in Our
Image, after Our likeness, and let them have complete authority….
27 So God created man in His own image, in the image and likeness of God
He created him; male and female, He created them
31 And God saw everything that He had made and behold, it was very good
(suitable, pleasant) and He approved it completely……

The scriptures tell us how God sees us.  If we can see ourselves the way God sees us, then we can be who God wants us to be.  Please read this and get an understanding in your heart, that if you see yourself in a negative way, then negative things will come your way.  But if you see yourself in a positive way, then positive things will come your way.

If you see yourself as any of the following: fat, stupid, poverty-stricken, homely-looking, ghetto, the black sheep of the family, a disgrace, unholy, unrighteous, ugly, or any other negative description, then that is what the devil will keep you in and or bring you into. When you speak negative things over yourself, you open the doorways for negative things to come your way or for you to stay bound in a negative circumstance.  You are speaking curses over your own life.

You are the one that holds the keys to the doors and windows in your life.  The doors and windows are gateways for the supernatural to come into the natural.  What you speak is what happens and what you believe becomes your reality.  The word of God says, in:

Proverbs 18:21 (Amplified Bible)
Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they who
indulge in it shall eat the fruit of it [for death or  for life].

You must see yourself like God sees you.  You must believe that you are wonderfully made.  If you believe first that you are fine, someone beautiful, then you can bring into manifestation that desire you want.  For example, if you are overweight.  Do not say you are fat and ugly, but rather, say I look good and I’m slimming down.  Then eat right and exercise and you will become what you desire.  Just remember everything starts first with faith.  Everything first starts in the mind.  So, see yourself as God sees you so that what is in the supernatural (where you put your faith out to) can come to the natural.  You must speak it into your life and work on the areas that need to be worked on.  Faith without works is dead.  Walk by faith and watch weight come off.  Watch yourself see the beauty that has always been there. You just desire to bring it out more and there is nothing wrong with that.  Do know that God sees you as beautiful just as you are right now.

Start speaking faith and watch yourself become more enlightened.  Whatever that thing is that is needed in your life, watch it come into fruition (realization), if you start speaking it over your life.  For speaking it will cause you to start working toward it.  It all starts with your tongue, not what others say, but what you say.  Know that you are crowned with glory and you have dominion and all things are put under your feet.  So stump on the devil and all his lies and know you are someone super special in Christ Jesus and someone special to God the Father.

Psalm 8:4-6 (Amplified Bible)
What is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of
[Earthborn] man that You care for him?
Yet You have made him but a little lower than God
[or heavenly beings], and You have
crowned him with glory and honor.
You made him to have dominion over the works of
Your hands: You have put all things under his feet:
