Consider Your Ways To Fulfill Your Destiny

As we start off in 2009 let us take note of our actions and note where our actions are taking us.  Everyday that we are living, we are choosing to fulfill our destiny or we are being distracted from it.  The way we can determine if we are fulfilling or being distracted is by judging our actions.  What we should be asking ourselves is, are our actions steps that are working in line with fulfilling our destinies?  Each and everyone of us has a different destiny to fulfill.

Haggai 1:6-7
"You have sown much, and bring in little; You eat, but do not have enough; You drink, but you are not filled with drink; You clothe yourselves, but no one is warm; And he who earns wages, Earns wages to put into a bag with holes."
Thus says the LORD of hosts: "Consider your ways! (NKJV)

The above scripture can be applied to anything.  Fulfilling our destiny is not having to complete everything we are designed to do in one step or even one year.  We must examine our ways to determine where we have been, where we are and where we want to go.  Judging ourselves will let us know if we are on or off the right tract.  We must question our actions toward God, our spouse, children, relationships, and our careers.  What we have been sowing or giving to them, is it reaping a harvest for us?  It is wise to take a second, third and even a forth look to evaluate if our ways are right or wrong.  There is a right and a wrong way to do a thing. For Christians, we need to understand that the right way produces blessings and the wrong way produces curses.  Blessings equal harmony and success while curses equal frustration and failure. What do we note about our previous actions?  Did our actions produce fruit, good fruit or bad fruit?  Are we achieving what we want to achieve?  If not, let us consider our ways.

Start 2009 off on the right foot. Plant the right actions so that you can reap a harvest of blessing the rest of this year and the years to come (Psalm 1:2-3). Live according to the wisdom of God that you will not have hindrances fulfilling your destinies (Isaiah 54:17).  Let your dreams and desires come true (Psalm 37:4) for when your ways line up with the wisdom of God then will the blessings come on you (Deuteronomy 28:1-2).

Happy New Year and May God Bless you all

So we are Christ's ambassadors, God making His appeal as it were through us. We [as Christ's personal representatives] beg you for His sake to lay hold of the divine favor [now offered you] and be reconciled to God.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
